I was using SERSitive substrates for surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy under green light excitation and what I can confirm is an excellent signal enhancement of 4-Mercaptophenylboronic acid. The signal intensity was very uniform in different sample point as well. Even more important was the constant technical support from SERSitive company which included not only the regular procedure for sample handling, but also a small, but very useful tips. Therefore I strongly recommend SERSitive substrates.
Very recently we have acquired SERS substrate from SERSitive for our research work on detection and analysis of gaseous compounds through detection of Raman signals from the samples. Our preliminary investigation with standard Raman active samples reveal that the SERS substrates are highly reproducible. Furthermore, it provides acceptably high enhancement factor (˜106). The technical team of SERSitive are very supportive and always ready to extend its support whenever required. I strongly recommend SERS substrate from SERSitive which offer its products at a very competitive price.
I am highly satisfied with the SERS substrates made by Sersitive. They reliably bring the specifications and the company also listens to what the customers require. I think I will only buy SERS substrates from Sersitive from now on…
"We recently tested SERSitive Ag substrates for the direct detection of alizarin in dyed wool and could obtain spectra with a very good signal-to-noise ratio upon 532-nm excitation. Especially valuable was the reproducibility of the SERS activity exhibited by the substrates in this rather critical experiment. In particular, I wish to thank Dr. Pawel Albrycht of SERSitive for his interest in our scientific problem.
We have worked with Ag substrates for Raman spectroscopy recently with samples of various substances and they have worked great.
Also note the technical attention of Pawel Albrycht during the entire investigation time.
Great quality at a very competitive price.
Our measurements using SERSitive S-Silver, S-AgAu as well as Premium-Silver and Premium-AgAu substrates in combination with a 785 nm Raman system showed very promising results. Concentrations of melamine in water down to 0.01 ppm could be easily detected with all substrate types. This is partly enabled by their exceptional resistance to high laser power which facilitates remarkable signal-to-noise ratios.
We tested AgAu hybrid substrates at 532, 633, and 785 wavelengths. The analyte was R6G dissolved in isopropanol (10 ^ -5 M). We were really satisfied with the results and the technical help provided by Dr. Paweł Albrycht.
